Overview
The Conrad M-48 Monotype printmaking press is only press built for extremely large light pressure printing. With a bed size of 48" x 72", it's perfect for lighter pressure printing like monotypes, linocuts, wood blocks, letterpress type, and all other relief work at a large scale.
The M-48 monotype press comes in two different models: standard and deluxe. The standard model includes a large open spoked direct drive that offers the printmaker an effortlessly smooth printing experience for light pressure work. The deluxe model includes the proprietary Conrad planetary gear reduction drive with spokes giving the printmaker the option to print heavier pressure work like etching/intaglio plates with ease.
Packed into an innovative design, this press has a large printing area of 48" x 72" that can easily fit through any standard 30" doorway without major disassembly.
