Conrad E-30 Floor Model Etching Press (30" x 60")

The Conrad E-30 floor model etching press is the ideal press for printmakers who want the stregnth and durability of a floor model press but don't have a large studio. With a print area of 30" x 60", the E-30 is capable of printing larger paper sheets with the full options of a professional floor model press.

The acclaimed E-30 floor model press design features large sealed bearings, impressive roll sizes, and the renowned Conrad planetary geared reduction drive. With it's solid steel or aluminim bed, this floor model press is designed for the highest pressure prints like etching/intaglio, photo gravure, and solar plates. The Conrad S-2 geared planetary drive can be equipped with either spokes or a captain's wheel for an effortless printing experience even under the heaviest pressure settings. Other presses with wood beds or thin walled tubular rolls can't say the same.

The 30" x 60" bed gluides through the press on 8 independantly adjustable support wheels allowing you to print lighter pressure work like monotypes, linocuts, wood blocks, letterpress type, and other relief techniques without resistance.
