Overview
The Conrad E-18 is robust professional-grade table top printmaking press for artists who want the options and performance of a larger etching press without taking up a large footprint in their studio. With a generous printing area of 18" x 44", the E-18 can easily handle larger prints and paper sizes.
The E-18 press's unique design was created specifically for the demands of high pressure work like etching/intaglio, photo gravure, and solar plates. The Conrad geared planetary drive gives the printmaker a smooth, ergonomic printing experience with a solid polished aluminum hand crank for easy printing under extreme heavy pressure.
The 18" x 44" bed gluides effortlessly across 8 custom made support wheels to make printing lighter pressure work like monotypes, linocuts, wood blocks, letterpress type, and other relief work a breeze.
